ALL ABOUT THE BOXES
The Family Adventure Pack is a monthly subscription that's filled with ideas for easy mini-adventures. They are designed to be
- flexible enough you can do them whenever you have some spare time.
- simple enough to do without lots of preparation
- adaptable enough to be able to involve kids of all ages - although we think it'll be easier to get those under 12 most engaged.
Plus we include an exclusive t-shirt for your child to wear whilst out and about having adventures. The t-shirts are designed to fit the theme of that month's pack.
Every month you'll recieve 5 cards packed with ideas for original activites. All of the activities are seasonally appropriate and will often contain events that are happening that month.
The Creative Crusades card contains a creative challenge. We know how quickly kid's interests can change and so these are designed to be done however you choose. One month you might want to paint, the next dance. It doesn't matter. These challenges are kept broad to help with creative thinking and to allow you to pursue your childs current passion!
The Scene Seekers checklist gives you 10 scenes to find each month. This might be as simple as a spring bulb breaking through, or as specific as watching a particular event. Whether you do 1 or all 10 is entirely up to you and the amount of time you have available.
The Awesome Adventures cards contain ideas for adventures you can have this month. They are mostly outdoors and are ideas to easily make family time fun. They tend not to need lots of specially purchased equipment or expensive locations. Every month you recieve ideas for 3 mini adventures, along with 2 bonus ideas for add on or alternative activities.
If you sign up for a plan with t-shirts included, you will also recieve a childs t-shirt in the size you requested. Each month we design these t-shirts to fit in with the theme of the acivities.
We try not to. Some may be similar but with a different twist or alternative way of doing things.
Our packs are designed to work for kids of all ages, but we think kids between 4-12 would get most of it.
We think so. We put alot of time and effort into ensuring our activity cards are filled with ideas that will help you make family memories.
You probably could google, scroll pinterest, read books or find other ways of coming up with some of these ideas but the conveniance of not having to waste your precious spare time doing that is what makes them priceless in our opinion. That and the unique ideas we include which you won't find anywhere else.
The contents of the box are specifically designed with busy families in mind.
We include a range of activities, from quick challenges to bigger adventures so that you can choose what fits into your schedule.
You can do as many or as few of the activities as you want. Even if you only manage to do one of them thats still an easy opportunity to make fabulous memories.
HOW IT WORKS
Yes of course!
Our boxes make wonderful gifts. They’re a great way to help busy parents find fun and adventurous things to do quickly and easily.
Simply choose which commitment length you want, then when you checkout tick the ‘Is this a gift?’ checkbox. This ensures your plan doesn’t automatically renew at the end of its term.
No! It's included in the price you see.
As long as you are in the UK (because we only ship to the UK) postage and packing is included in all of our prices. So, no need to worry, we won’t slap a huge increase on the price when you checkout.
If you sign up between the 1st and 15th of the month:
- you will be charged immediately for your first pack.
- your first pack will be sent out within a few days of your order.
- the first pack you receive will be the one for the month you have ordered in.
This means you will only have part of the month to complete the activities in your pack. To ensure this doesn’t happen again:
- your next billing date will be the 22nd of the SAME month.
- your second pack will be sent out on 25th of the SAME month and so should be with you by 1st of the following month
- going forward your regular billing date will be the 22nd and your pack will be sent out on or around 25th
If you sign up between the 16th and 31st:
- you will be charged immediately for your first pack.
- the first pack you receive will be the pack for the following month
- your pack will be sent either on 25th or as soon as possible following that date.
- going forward your regular billing date will be the 22nd and your pack will be sent out on or around 25th
We hope that you’ll love your boxes and keep recieving them for a while.
And in that time, things might change.
We ask you to have an account so that you are able to keep your personal data up to date. This way we know we are sending your boxes to the correct location.
MY PLAN
You can sign up to a plan using this website.
You will be asked to create account where you can manage information such as the address you want your box sent to and your child's t-shirt size.
Payments are handled by our payment processor not us, so you can be sure your details will be handled confidentially.
We offer 3 different plans:
1. Monthly plan: When you choose this plan, you purchase the Family Adventure Pack on a monthly basis. You will be charged for the first pack upon placing your order. Your renewal date is will be moved to 22nd for all future payments. Depending on when you purchase, this may be the same month as you signed up in. There is no commitment to purchasing further boxes, you can cancel your plan at any time. You must cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date or you will be charged for the next box and will be unable to cancel until the following renewal date.
This is the most flexible of our plans and as a consequence, it is the most expensive option.
2. Quarterly Plan (three months): When you choose this plan, you purchase the Family Adventure Pack on a quarterly basis. Upon placing your order you will be charged for 3 months.
Your renewal date will be on 22nd when your plan will be renewed for the following three month’s. There is no commitment to renewing and purchasing further boxes, if you want to cancel, you must do so at least 48 hours before your renewal date or you will be unable to cancel until the following renewal date.
We offer a 5% discount on the monthly price when you choose our quarterly plan.
3. Annual plan (12 months): When you choose this plan, you purchase the Family Adventure Pack on an annual basis. Upon placing your order you will be charged for the full 12 months.
Your renewal date will be on 22nd when your plan will be renewed for the following year. There is no commitment to renewing, if you want to cancel, you must do so at least 48 hours before your renewal date or you will be unable to cancel until the following renewal date.
When you sign up to our annual plan, you recieve 12 months for the price of 10.
If you wish to purchase a single pack or one of our plans as a gift, please ensure you tick the checkbox “Is this a gift” when purchasing. This prevents the system from renewing your plan at the end of the term.
If you fail to check this box for any reason don’t worry. As long as you cancel at least 48 hours before the anniversary of your purchase date your plan will not be renewed. This is easy to do by signing into your customer account. However, if you are unable to do this yourself, please email info@thefantabulousfamily.com
When you commit to multiple boxes, you help us plan our future requirements. In return for your support we offer you bonuses. These bonus’ change regularly, they may be a discount to the monthly rate, bonus items or a free box.
You also lock the price of your box in for a full three or twelve months.
All our subscriptions automatically renew at the end of your term, unless you click the ‘This is a Gift’ checkbox when placing your order. If you wish to cancel, you must do so before the renewal date.
Changing your information is easily achieved by logging into your account on our website.
No! Of course we’d love it if you stayed with us, but we are an ethical business and we will never make it hard for you to cancel.
You can log into your account to change or cancel your plan once the original term you purchased has finished.
You need to do this at least 48 hours (2 days) before your renewal date. You can easily do this by logging into your account, however if you are unable to do this yourself for any reason, please email info@thefantabulousfamily.com or contact us for assistance.
We will not change your price part way through your plan however we reserve the right to adjust the price of the Family Festival Fun Box on your renewal date.
PAYMENTS
For all plans, you will make a payment when you place your order. For three and twelve month you will pay the full amount when you purchase.
Unless you change or cancel your plan, your renewal date payment will work in the same way as the original plan you chose. Your renewal date will be either one month, three months or twelve months following your original purchase.
You can log into your account on our website at any time and change your details or amend your plan. Please note that if you’ve chosen the six or twelve month plans, you will be unable to cancel until you have received the relevant number of boxes.
We will send you a reminder email before your payment is due.
We only use Stripe to process payments. We don’t see any of your payment information, it is all handled by Stripe.

We want you to love your Family Adventure Pack
We offer a satisfaction guarantee on your first box. If you’re not completely satisfied, contact us within 14 days to arrange a return. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases of damaged or defective items.
Once we receive your box and its contents back, we will refund the cost of the box, excluding post and packaging no questions asked. We aim to process refunds within 5-7 business days of receiving your returns.
For subsequent boxes, we’ll gladly replace any damaged or defective items if reported within fourteen days of delivery. We will request that you send a photograph of the product to expedite the process. If we agree that a product is defective or damaged, we’ll ask you to either safely dispose of it or return it to us. We will then offer you the choice of either an exchange or a full refund of the product price.
We review all other refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to initiate a return or for any questions about returns and refunds.
DELIVERY
We deliver anywhere in the UK, including BFPO addresses.
For countries outside the UK, there will be an additional overseas shipping cost. Contact us on info@thefantabulousfamily.com with your destination and we can give you a quote.
We use Royal Mail for deliveries and these can take up to 5 days.
If you live in a different country and would like to subscribe, please contact us and we will investigate the cost and feasibility of sending packs to you
If your Family Adventure Pack doesn’t arrive when you expect it will check the tracking information we sent via email when your box was shipped. If it’s been more than 2-3 business days past the expected delivery date, please contact us.
We’ll investigate the situation with our shipping partner. If we determine that your box is lost, we’ll send a replacement at no cost, typically within 3-5 business days.
We’re committed to ensuring you receive your activities and goodies as expected, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s an issue with your delivery.
All our boxes are packed manually by hand, this means that at times some items may get missed or fall out during shipping. If this is the case please email us at joanna@familyfestivalplanner.com outlining what’s missing and we will be happy to send out replacements.
We’ll gladly replace any damaged or defective items if reported within fourteen days of delivery.
